MOP Courses and Workshops
MOP Creative Arts Courses give participants a chance to develop their creativity alongside professional visual artists, theatre-makers, film-makers, writers and performers.
We offer a range of creative projects including youth theatre, film-making, mask performance, willow lantern and flag-making, creative literacy and writing, community drama, theatre-in-education, processions, outdoor and site-specific performance.
Our theatre workshops include sessions on acting, physical theatre, mask performance, theatre writing, Shakespeare and more.
Our film making projects include camera training, screenwriting, editing and production skills.
We also run projects for organisations interested in using film and drama techniques in their work with different communities.
We offer sessions in community festival, lantern-making and processional performance. Our aim is to help communities find creative ways to celebrate seasonal events or to create new celebrations for local people.
MOP aims to respond in detail to individual requests from schools and other communities for specific arts activity suited to their needs and budgets.
We offer bespoke evening classes and after-school / holiday workshop courses and can also provide workshop sessions to support GCSE and A-Level Media, Drama and Theatre Studies courses.
